• I have returned.

  (Nerd_points++ to anyone who catches that reference, or this one.)

  I’m back! After just over 2 years of being gone from Xanga, the prodigal blogger has returned. (Amazingly I remembered my login on the first try.)

  Why? Two big reasons that probably should have motivated me sooner.

  1. The University of Michigan Secular Student Alliance is not the organization it once was. I founded the group in late 2006 and watched it grow until 2010; then I left it on its own and it exploded in size (good) and got taken over by jerks (bad). One fellow in particular abused his power to dominate the executive board and ostracize a dear friend of mine. I’m finally tired of their BS (also, I have since earned my B.S.), so I’m leaving.

  2. The blog for said UMich-SSA had like three readers in all, and several dozen spambots. I was wasting my talents there, and it caused me to neglect all of you, my loyal readers. (I do hope you haven’t all given up on my completely in the interim.)

  I may cross-post some of the posts on UMich-SSA (it’s really easy for me, and most of you won’t have had a chance to read them anyway), but for now I just want to say,
  I’m back!
